We would typically be involved in assisting owners with any of the following phases of the repairs

Preparing the full repairs specifications

Obtaining quotations from various yards (for both work to be done but also for prospective work which might arise).

Comparing (cost/ time) of quotations and discussing possible discounts with yards

Preparing the timescale of the repairs and obtaining yard agreement on sequence of repairs

Supervising the repairs for hull, machinery, electrical, coating, etc..

Monitoring / controlling time / quality and correct sequence of repairs

Preparing memos for yard in case of sub standard job quality or delays

Monitoring final “job done list” and monitoring / negotiating final invoices
