Philip Zeler
Marine Engineer and Naval Architect

Born 23 Nov. 1966. A Marine Engineer and Naval Architect, Philip is the company’s Managing Director, with extensive experience in vessel/ cargo surveys and claims. He has been involved in over 300 claims covering the entire range of the marine industry and in excess of 400 ship inspections. Philip has a Masters in Naval Architecture / Ocean Engineering from the University of Athens and the University College of London and has worked as a surveyor for over fifteen years in addition to another six years as technical manager for General Maritime Enterprises. Since 1995 he has been actively involved in Marine claims, as well as in H&M / P&I Club issues.

Dimitris Danos
Chief Engineer

Born 25 Oct. 1949. An active chief engineer from the Engineers Technical Academy of Chios, Dimitris is dealing with all engine related surveys and claims. He is a qualified First Class Chief Engineer, has over 40 years experience at sea and has worked as Chief Engineer on board Dry- cargo vessels since 1980. He also held several positions as Superintendent Engineer and Technical Manager for both Greek Shipping Companies and Greek Ship-repair Companies. He has trained in Switzerland, Germany, Denmark and Japan for SULZER, MAN and MITSUBISHI Diesel Engines gaining a vast experience in engine trouble shooting and repairs. Since 1986 he has been deeply involved in Marine claims, as well as in H&M / P&I Club issues.

David Mutin
Cargo and Yacht Surveyor

Born 14 Aug. 1966. David is the company’s cargo and yacht surveyor with extensive experience in cargo quality / quantity surveys, yacht pre-purchase and cost estimation surveys, cargo damage surveys and preventive cargo surveys. David has a Bachelors degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Grenoble and has an aggregate of over twenty years experience as cargo surveyor, supervisor for drilling companies and quality/ quantity surveyor for laboratories.

Michael Katakalos
Ex Chief engineer

Born 27th April 1951. Michael is an ex.Chief Engineer and has over 45 years of aggregate experience as a Ship Engineer / Chief Engineer and Superintendent Engineer with a special emphasis on machinery related surveys and repairs and dry dock supervision. He has also logged 2 years as technical assessor of new-building projects and new-building specifications. His previous posting was as senior superintendent engineer at General Maritime / Greece.

Dimitris Kokinis
Ex master mariner

Born 10th June1980. Dimitris is a class A Master Mariner. He has served as Chief Officer a on bulk carriers, tankers and LNG’s and hasextensive experience in crew welfare management. His previous posting was as CO on a Kamsarmax bulk carrier.
